The International Municipal Forum (IMF) is a major platform for dialogue about advancements in domestic urban planning and the promotion of international cooperation in matters concerning urban infrastructure.
The event is held annually in accordance with a Russian Presidential Decree dated 29 December 2025 and aims to bolster business ties between representatives of the regional and municipal authorities and entrepreneurs from Russia and other countries.
The IMF Organizing Committee is chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk.
The Moscow Government is the General Partner of the Forum.

The main event will be the plenary session, which will feature an in-depth discussion on the Forum’s main theme: ‘Sustainable Urban Transformation: Responding to Global Challenges’.
